3rd Field Day of DCALDP will be held on September 28th, 2017 on Huanghai Farm, Jiangsu China
On September 28th, 2017, the 3rd agricultural field day of Sino-German Crop Production and Agrotechnology Demonstration Park (DCADLP) will be organized on the Huanghai Farm. The local farmers, representatives of German business partners, and interested Chinese stakeholders are warmly invited and welcomed to visit.
The project "Sino-German Crop Production and Agrotechnology Demonstration Park" (DCADLP ) is a bilateral cooperation project signed by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) of the People’s Republic of China. The project was officially launched in November 2015 in SKIAD (Jiangsu Provincial Agricultural Reclamation and Development Corporation), Huanghai Branch and is located in Huanghai farm.
The DCADLP project aims at development of sustainable agriculture in China by means of modern agricultural machinery and adapted cultivation methods. The crops (rice, barley, wheat, dry rice, corn, soybeans and peas) were planted with German technology and expertise on a 150-hectare demonstration area provided by the Huanghai Farm. The field day presents the bilateral project team’s work in the last growing season to the general public and will be an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with experts from the field, scientists and politicians and to make new contacts.
The 3rd field day is reserved for field presentations by German and Chinese experts there at seven slots, which will shed light on the state-of-the-art technical solutions in crop cultivation.
The event is organized by the consortium of AFC Consultants International / DLG International and supported by technical inputs of the projects’ business partners from Germany, whose advanced machines can be observed in action on the field.
The project team is looking forward to welcoming you to the 3rd field day on Thursday 28 September 2017.
